I'm wondering what the connection of the lady Mr. Kaplan is to Red. She shows up at the strangest times and the first time they met she said her job is to keep Her (lizzie) safe. Then she shows up again finding the grave of Jolie or Lucy Brooks. I'm thinking she's always close by and is a silent character keeping Lizzie "safe". Any ideas?

I have a million questions about her. I'm sure when she was instructed to keep Lizzie safe it was at Reddington's request, but how she tracked down a couple of dead bodies is beyond me. She also said she could perform a field autopsy if Reddington wanted her to, which is not something you just learn how to do overnight.

Why does Mr. Kaplan call Red by "Gary?" I have heard her do it twice. Do you think it is his sister the way she kissed him on his face it makes me feel like they are family. She doesn't seem old enough to be his mother.
I'm pretty sure she's calling him "Deary" actually (like you might expect someone's grandma to say, "Hello, Deary" or, "Excuse me, Sonny").
Either way, no clue who she is but I think you're right about her not being old enough to be his mother.
Regarding the kiss on the face, it seems like Reddington does that with a lot of people.... Actually? Maybe not. Maybe you're right. I was thinking he just recently did it to someone else but I must have been thinking of Mr Kaplan. Pretty sure he kissed Dembe on the face in The Courier (episode 2), but beyond that I can't think of too many other times off the top of my head.
I rewatched that scene though where Mr Kaplan found the dead bodies, and if you listen to things she says she makes it sound as if she's some kind of prodigy or something. She offers to do a ballistics analysis, a field autopsy, she appears to have no issues with making things untraceable, she has access to all the high-level crime databases... Someone like that is obviously an asset to whoever she works for, regardless of if it's Reddington or the government or even a fast food restaurant.

I believe it is Mr. Kaplan who has been the one destroying Red's life in the latest season. I do not believe it is Dembe. It make perfect sense to me.
